Shipping and Delivery Policy

Digital editions
Your private access link is emailed to the address you gave at checkout within 1 business day of payment, usually much sooner. There is no delivery fee. If it has not arrived, please check your spam folder, then email letstalk@valrankin.com and we will resend it.
Printed editions
We deliver printed books within South Africa through PUDO for locker to locker or locker to door, or through PAXI for collection at your nearest PEP store. The delivery fee is shown at checkout before you pay.
PUDO locker to locker
1–2 books: R70. Full Valley Series set (4 books): R90.
PUDO to your door
1–2 books: R99. Full Valley Series set (4 books): R130.
PAXI to a PEP store (slower)
1–2 books: R70. Full Valley Series set (4 books): R70.
Collection at a Val Rankin event
1–2 books: Free. Full Valley Series set (4 books): Free.
We dispatch within 3 business days of payment or sooner. PUDO delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after dispatch; PAXI takes longer, usually 7–9 business days.
Outside South Africa
Posting books abroad is costly, so for overseas readers we recommend the digital editions, or the print-on-demand paperback printed in your own country where available. Signed copies can be sent abroad on request: we quote the postage at cost and you pay it before we send.
We dispatch on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Once your order is on its way, we email you the tracking details.
Wrong address or missed delivery
Please check your delivery details carefully at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or a missed collection, we will resend it once you cover the new delivery fee.
Lost or damaged in transit
If your book has not arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, or arrives damaged, email letstalk@valrankin.com with your order details (and a photo, if damaged). We will send a replacement or refund you in full.
